FIRST AIR BALLOON LAUNCH INVITATION

In September of 1783, the Montgolfier Brothers launched the first hot air balloon with living creatures in flight; a sheep, a duck, and a rooster. I designed a self mailer style invitation to the launch itself which would have been hosted by the king of France. The balloon itself in the invitation is a magnet so that it could be hung somewhere as a reminder to send back your reply card as well as a reminder for the event itself.
